Basisbank receives EUR 8 000 000 from ResponsAbility Investments AG to support MSME Lending in Georgia

Basisbank and ResponsAbility Innvestment AG signed a loan agreement in the amount of EUR 8 mln. The three year loan facility will be used to finance micro, small and medium size businesses in Georgia. First cooperation between Basisbank and ResponsAbility in support of MSME sector development was initiated in 2018. This is the fourth joint project launched to devote larger resources to serving the needs of Basisbank’s MSME clients. 

Financing of large, medium and small businesses is one of the strategic directions of Basisbank. The bank is one of the largest business financiers on the market with a significant contribution to the development of the country's economy, which makes it a desirable and effective partner for international organizations.
